Interview with the Author
Q – So, what makes The Emily Heart Time Jumper Series special?

A – It’s a mix of things, really. When I set out to write these books, I wanted to create something that mirrored exactly the kind of books I like to read: something unexpected, a little shocking and definitely heart pounding. Time traveler stories have been done to death and so have genetic engineering sagas. But rarely have they been mixed together with a homeless teenage girl whose emotions can send her jumping randomly across time and space. Emily can’t have friends, can’t get involved or fall in love, and can’t let her emotions get the best of her.

The Emily Heart Time Jumper Series of books are a great mix of several genres: time travel, romance, paranormal, young adult, and urban, with a few kick-you-in-the-teeth surprises that few readers see coming!

Overall, The Emily Heart Time Jumper Series is designed to keep you turning the pages – and I’ve made sure there’s never a dull moment. Judging by the reviews, I think I’ve accomplished my goals.

Q – What order should I read the books in?

A – I’ve written the series in several parts, each one as a standalone episode or as some call it, short fiction. But you do want to read them in order starting with Part 1, which is available now. Part 2 will be released on March 15, 2015. The remainder of the series will be released in 2015.

Q – So, why should readers give these books a try?

A – Because The Emily Heart Time Jumper Series is a fast, fun, thrill-ride that takes no prisoners!
Ultimately, readers who enjoy lightning-fast pacing with a plot that twists and turns all the way to the end will get one heck of a ride out of this very unique series.

Fans who love futuristic thrillers and dystopian sci-fi adventure stories will enjoy this action-packed mystery with a dash of romance. This is book one of the bestselling Numbers Game Saga. “Gripping, from beginning to end . . . a tale as action-packed as Divergent yet as introspective as The Giver. . . . Sure to be an instant classic in the genre.” –R.J. Craddock, author of The Children of Cain series”Best dystopian fiction I have read since Red Queen!”-Sheri, Reader”WOW! I loved this story. From start to finish it was fast-paced with interesting characters.”-Tina, Amazon Reviewer”This book was amazing! It captivated me from page one and kept me wanting more, even at the end! It’s got the deepness of The Giver, with the excitement of the Uglies series, or the Hunger Games. It has romance, but it’s not just another love story, it really digs deep . . . I would recommend this to anyone, literally anyone.”-Kat, Amazon Reviewer”Better than Scott Westerfeld’s Uglies.” –Karen Pellett, ReviewerIn’Dtale Magazine: “Built on a brilliant, if grim idea, the author reveals twists and turns gradually: building interests and enthusiasm with it! The idea of a number defining your worth, and then it being exposed to everyone’s eyes is horrifying, and the breakdown readers see Treena going through illuminates that perfectly. She has been stripped of respect and Numbers Game deals equally with her inner world battlefield of discovering herself again and the outer world one of surviving. It’s balanced wonderfully. . . . Offers new things to the world of YA and there is much to look forward to in the next books.”***Visit smarturl.it/NGnews to join The Clan and get a FREE story.***

Vampire Spirit: A Jerusa Phoenix Supernatural Thriller (The Perpetual Creatures Saga Book 1) by Gabriel Beyers

A fledgling vampire must use her ability to see ghosts to hunt down a savage flesh-eater.

“Holy cow! I mean, yeah it’s that awesome. Those books that draw you in immediately and keep you hanging onto the edge of your seat are the ones we all love right? Well this is definitely one where you will find yourself so close to the edge you almost fall off. Talk about nail biting, heart racing and down-right worrisome! This is one heck of a thrill ride! I would have to recommend this book to every single paranormal and fantasy lover out there.”

“You have it all in one book, vampires, ghosts, flesh-eaters… what more do you need!”

“Let’s face it, vampires have been done over and over and over again, yet he found a new angle to approach it all. And what an angle that is!!! Even though there is a lot of horror and suspense, it is by no means too gory to read, and I love gory. This book is fantastic and I am dieing to read the next one.”

Jerusa Phoenix has a unique perspective of life and death. Born with a congenital heart defect and the ability to see the spirits of the lingering dead, the line between the two has always been blurred. When Jerusa meets a mysterious young man hiding in the forest, she is forced down a supernatural path that will send both life and death on a collision course.

Despite receiving several warnings—some from the living, some from the dead—to remain inside after dark, Jerusa ventures out to escape her overbearing mother. She stumbles upon a group of vampires, and is attacked for her intrusion. The mystery man comes to her rescue, killing one of the vampires, but not before Jerusa is transformed into one of the undead herself.

With vampiric blood now flowing through her veins, years of sickness melt away, and Jerusa feels strong for the first time in her life. It’s such a glorious sensation, one that she hopes will go on for eternity, but the wonder quickly fades. To all of their horror the slain vampire rises from his death, becoming a feral, savage flesh-eater, and escapes into the night.

Allowing such an abomination is a violation of the most sacred vampire law. Jerusa reluctantly joins up with the other vampires, and using her ghostly sixth sense, attempts to track down and destroy the savage before he can make others.

They must move fast, though. If the eldest members of the vampire race discover what has happened, they will destroy all those involved in this atrocity without question. This trouble began with Jerusa, and only she can set things right.
